‘footy footy footy’ Table Tipping Competition

The guys from ‘footyfootyfooty’ have a competition they run every year. I’ll let them explain the rules. Basically they ask you to tell them (before the start of the season) where you think every team will finish on the ladder.  Not unlike what Myself and Lunnie just talked about on the podcast. Then at the end of the season they have a points system based on where you thought a team would finish and where they actually did finish. It includes all types of prizes but its mostly for bragging rights.  The competition was won last year by a Rugby Union fan (*gulp*) so the boys want a ’REAL’ League fan to try and take out the prize this year. I’ve entered the competition this year and I thought i’d show you what my tips look like. Hopefully this will inspire you to get involved.

1 Storm Dont see why the wouldnt continue to be great.
2 Tigers Exciting and fun to watch…Benjis defense sucks though
3 Sea Eagles The DesLess Manly may struggle but are still a solid squad
4 Knights One of the strongest and fastest backlines in the league…too bad they have Tahu playing for them
5 Bulldogs Big things from Barba in attack and Tolman in defense. Like under the radar signing of Graham
6 Cowboys Riding the Thurston/Bowen wave again this season…wont be enough to win
7 Dragons Defense defense defense…sometimes they will play attack. Soward needs to step up
8 Broncos Hard not too put them in the 8…big year for Wallace. Love the Yow Yeh and Hoffman factor
9 Rabbitohs *gulp* Will fall short again unfortunately. Reynolds will be good but not good enough
10 Warriors Where very lucky last year I think. It will show this year
11 Panthers They signed some great players…like? Ivan will help but not enough to get into the 8
12 Roosters Again…who did they sign? Perhaps they are waiting to sign someone big?? I think they have already written off the year
13 Sharks Todd Carney, Wade Graham, Jeff Robson, Chad Towsend and Albert Kelly – too many chefs if you ask me.
14 Eels Roberts and Sandow are too inconsistant to be your number 6 and 7. Big year from Justin Horo I think.
15 Titans They still dont have a 5/8…they will lack again this year.
16 Raiders Riding the Dugan and Campese train all the way to Injury Station. Furner to be gone by Round 4.

Home Team: South Sydney Rabbitohs
Best Attack:  Newcastle Knights
Worst Attack:  St George Illawarra Dragons
Best Defence:  Melbourne Storm
Worst Defence:  Canberra Raiders
Top Tryscorer:  Josh Hoffman

Have a go right here guys.
